In August 2001 Olivieri Salumi opens a new establishment. This is a significant step forward in the development and growth of the company.
By the time the need/the requirement to use larger spaces and advanced technologies were born.
Although the laboratory of the historical centre was unable to meet the demands of a rising market.
Instead, the modern factory with an area of over 1000 m2 of workshop and with all the sanitary requirements allows the subdivision into several and specific sectors according to the various steps of processing carried out by highly qualified personnel. This investment has not disappointed the expectations of the partners/shareholders: the customerâ€™s response was decisive in bringing about an important increase in production. That has even doubled from 20 to 40 pounds/kilograms a week.
This increase has determined the objectives of the company into a market no longer entirely tied to the region: but also nationally and internationally supported by the EEC mark.Despite the innovations made in the last years, Olivieri Salumi did not lose his authentic handcrafted style that makes the company a unique brand: Olivieri continues to be a landmark of tradition in its hometownâ€¦using the slogan â€śLâ€™Antica Norcineria Folignateâ€ť (â€śThe Ancient Norcinera from Folignoâ€ť).
